Aleksandra Zawada works simultaneously in photography and mixed media, on occasion overlapping both. She creates series of works based on ambiguous imagery open to multi interpretations. She is interested in de construction and manipulation of relationships between photographs; creating new narratives, highlighting overlooked. She mixes facts with fiction; stretching and scrutinizing the limits of photographic language and its ability to represent truthfully.

Her works are made with simple, minimal methods and materials, usually related to everyday.
